Who is collecting the data?
Our Marketing team will be collecting the data.
The data are collected through:
- The online ticket purchase system for our events, Eventbrite.
- Our event guest lists on the day of the event
- Email and phone enquiries about events; from people who requested to be added to our event mailing list.
- Thought prize draw
- Thought business card exchange
What data is being collected?
Only first name, last name, email address and when freely given, a telephone number will be collected. We do not collect special categories of personal data.
What is the legal basis for processing the data?
When sharing personal data with us, it is reasonable for you to assume we will contact you. Either by sharing business cards with some of our team members or when participating to games we have organised under our company’s name.
It is also reasonable for us to believe you are interested in hearing from us when sharing your information with us.
Those data collected shall have a minimal privacy impact.
Will the data be shared with any third parties?
Very little information is collected and none of the information collected is sold or shared with any third party. We do use third party software to process data. The software used are Eventbrite and MailChimp, which are compliant with GDRP regulations.
Eventbrite is the ticket platform used to sell event tickets. Only names and email address will be processed through this platform.
MailChimp is the mailing system used to contact you. Only email, names and when freely given, telephone numbers will be processed.
For future reference, Harvey Bowes Financial Services will not pass on your personal data to third parties. We will first need to obtain your consent.
How will the information be used?
The data will be carefully used for the purpose of informing you about the upcoming property and finance events we organise. This will include Finance Mastery workshops and Property Networking events.
The platform MailChimp is used to send emails and is compliant with the new GDRP regulations.
How long will the data be stored for?
The data will be stored for as long as the individual is still interacting with the company’s communications. Which includes opening and clicking on emails. And for a maximum of 6 months thereafter.
What rights does the data subject have?
The subject will have the right to access, modify and request the suppression of any personal data the company holds.
